BELLVILLE — Long-time Bellville staple Stoodt’s Market reportedly closed for good over the weekend.
Rumors were spread by concerned customers on social media last week saying that the store would close permanently this past Saturday. The market marked all of their merchandise to 50 percent off, which brought crowds of customers to the store for what could have been their last trip to Stoodt’s.
Neither Jason Potes, owner since 2016, or Stoodt’s management could be reached for comment.
