Bob Boss, president of First-Knox National Bank, said he’s be involved in the process from the start.

“The process started about 15 months ago,” Boss said. “I’m good with everything that is changing.”

He said he got to have his voice heard in the discussions and that his position, and the bank’s involvement in the community, won’t change. For the customers, their daily lives won’t change. Boss mentioned that they, the 12 different banks under Park National, really needed to do something because having 12 different logos which doesn’t work with technology.

The press release included a link to a short video about the change and a frequently ask questions page.

“We’re going to have the same people doing the same things, serving their customers as they have before,” David Trautman, Chairman and CEO of Park National Bank, said in the short video clip. “Unifying the brand message ‘We want to serve people more.’ Unify under one uniform. One name, one logo, one store.”

The change is occurring now because, under the FAQ section, because it allows for the banks for “smart, steady growth, with expanded resources to better serve” the customers. They said the services will not change and the only change that will be seen will be a new name and a new look. The website, mobile app, and the branches will all be refreshed to the new Park National Bank look and feel.

Banking information will remain the same and checks will be updated when ordered.
