MOUNT VERNON — Two men were sentenced in the Knox County Court of Common Pleas on Thursday in connection with a drug raid that was executed at a residence on East Gambier Street in October.
Antonio M. Bolden Jr., 24, was sentenced by Judge Richard D. Wetzel to four years in prison on two second-degree felony counts of aggravated possession of drugs and also one 24-month term of aggravated trafficking of drugs within 1,000 feet of a school — which is a third-degree felony. He was sentenced to two four-year terms, one per possession charge, and they would run concurrently with the 24-month trafficking charge, so his total time is four years.
Harry L. Smith Jr., 54, was sentenced to 22 months in prison for two counts of possession of heroin and one of permitting drug abuse, all of which are fifth-degree felonies. It was at Smith’s residence that the trafficking occurred.
His sentence of 22 months combines two 11-month prison terms concurrently and those two consecutively with a third 11-month sentence.

Alex Casebolt, 25, was found eligible for Intervention in Lieu of Conviction (ILC) after he changed his plea from not guilty to guilty to possession of cocaine, a felony of the fifth degree.
William D. Turbeville, 51, changed his plea from not guilty to guilty to an amended charge of aggravated menacing, a misdemeanor of the first degree, and then was sentenced to two years of community control. The charge was downgraded from a fifth-degree felony and stems from an incident were he said something threatening to a case worker at the conclusion of a Juvenile Court case in January.
