PUBLIC NOTICE
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging, Inc. (AAA5) will hold a public hearing to present the 2027–2030 Strategic Area Plan for review and public comment.
The public hearing will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in the Magnolia Room at the Hawkins Event Center, Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging, 2131 Park Avenue West, Ontario, Ohio 44906.
The Older Americans Act (OAA) of 1965 requires each Area Agency on Aging (AAA) to prepare a Strategic Area Plan to foster the development of a comprehensive and coordinated service system that meets the needs of older adults within the Planning and Service Area (PSA).
The 2027–2030 Strategic Area Plan will be available for public review beginning Wednesday, July 8, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging, Inc., 2131 Park Avenue West, Ontario, Ohio 44906.
Written comments will be accepted through 5:00 p.m. on July 15, 2026. Comments should be directed to:
