The Heart of Ohio organization announced that this year’s USA Festival parade will feature the theme "Celebrating 250 Years of America’s Freedom" and will recognize veterans from all branches of the military as Grand Marshalls.

All veterans who wish to participate are invited to ride on a float during the parade. The event aims to honor their service as part of the nation’s 250th birthday celebration.

Due to many Centerburg High School Band members being out of town, the school band will not be able to march in this year’s parade. However, band director Chuck Dettmar has arranged for the Columbus Saints Drum & Bugle Corps to lead the parade. They will march, guide participants to the park, and perform the National Anthem at the flag-raising ceremony at the end of the parade.

Organizers encourage attendees to arrive early and secure seats so they do not miss any part of the event. The announcement describes this year’s parade as an exciting occasion for both spectators and participants.

Further details about participation and scheduling can be found on the organization's website.
