OhioMeansJobs Knox County announced on its website that registration is now open for the 2026 Summer Youth Employment Program. The program is available to individuals between the ages of 14 and 18 who will be returning to high school for the 2026–2027 school year.
The program will run from June 15 through July 24, with participants working Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. The pay rate is set at $13.00 per hour.
According to OhioMeansJobs Knox County, "this is your chance to gain real work experience, build confidence, and earn a paycheck." The organization also said, "Parents, this is a great opportunity for your teen to learn valuable skills in a supportive environment."
Enrollment for the program closes on April 30. Interested applicants are encouraged to complete an interest form online or call 740-392-9675 for more information.
