The City of Mount Vernon announced that Venture Drive will be closed to all traffic, including emergency vehicles, for road reconstruction beginning April 6 and continuing through May 4.
According to the announcement, the closure will affect the section of Venture Drive between Upper Gilchrist Road and the west drive of Danbury Mount Vernon. The closure has been requested by the Engineering Department.
Entry east of 1641 Venture Drive (Gentle Food Care) should use Upper Gilchrist access. Entry from 1641 and West will need to enter off Coshocton Avenue through the Rural King parking lot.
