The Fredericktown Police Department announced that it will participate in the Spring Drug Take Back Day on April 25 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
During this event, community members are encouraged to bring unused, unwanted, or expired medications and syringes for safe disposal. Liquids will not be accepted. The collection will take place at the Fredericktown Police Department located at 182 South Main Street.
Other participating locations include the Danville Police Department at 512 South Market Street, Knox Public Health at 11660 Upper Gilchrist Road in Mount Vernon, Foster's Pharmacy at 4584 Columbus Road in Centerburg, and Mount Vernon Health Center at 202 West Vine Street.
According to the announcement, "Drug Take Back day is quickly approaching! Saturday April, 25th from 10:00 AM-2:00 PM you may bring unused, unwanted, and/or expired medications and syringes to the Fredericktown Police Department for them to be safely disposed of. NO LIQUIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED."
