Licking County Humane Society announces March events and updates for spring

The Licking County Humane Society announced a series of events and updates for March, highlighting activities related to its shelter and Sophie's Thrift Store.

The organization said that some dates and times are tentative and may change, with updates to be provided as more details become available. The announcement thanked supporters for their continued support of the animals in care.

Key dates include the LCHS60 Anniversary Celebration on March 7, information about the 6 for 60 Campaign, and the cancellation of the Heath Middle School Family Fun Resource Fair on March 14. The last day to donate towels to the Heath JCPenney Towel Drive is also March 14. On March 16, Jane Tomsich began her role as Executive Director. Additional events include Avery’s Law going into effect on March 18, Friend’s of Sophie’s at Sophie's Thrift Store from 1-3 p.m., Barkn Beauty Bus at LCHS Wellness Clinic on March 21, an Easter Pet Event at Sophie’s Thrift Store from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., a Heath PetSmart Adoption Event on March 27, a full Senior Citizen Pet Owner Spay/Neuter Clinic on March 30, and Pucks & Paws Fundraiser Night #1 featuring CBJ vs Carolina at 7:30 p.m. on March 31.

The organization said that more information will be shared for each event as it becomes available. Details about future Senior Clinics will also be posted when scheduled.
