The Country Club Rehabilitation Campus at Mt. Vernon will be serving free breakfast on Wednesday, March 18, in appreciation of the Knox County first responders.
"We want to show our appreciation and gratitude to the police, fire, and EMT departments of Knox County," the organization stated.
The First Responders Breakfast, which will last for two hours, will be served beginning at 8 a.m. Local police officers, emergency medical personnel, and members of the fire department are invited to attend and enjoy a traditional meal featuring eggs and hash. Bacon, sausage biscuits and gravy will also be prepared. The menu will be rounded out with coffee and a selection of assorted juices.
"Thank you for the dedication, protection and service you provide all of the communities in Knox County," the organization added.
The Country Club Rehabilitation Campus at Mt. Vernon, a senior health care community, is located at 1350 Yauger Rd.
It is a senior health care community which offers independent and assisted living apartments and long-term care rooms, among others. Apart from Mount Vernon, it also has campuses in Ashland, Ashtabula, Bellaire, Delaware, Dover, Marysville, and Newton Falls.
