Centerburg Elementary and Middle School families are invited to take part in the Raise Craze “Kindness Games,” a fundraiser focused on serving others.
Since March 2, the school community has been working toward a $10,500 goal to support student programs, middle school events and teacher appreciation efforts. The campaign continues through March 20.
Raise Craze is an online platform that allows families to create secure donation pages and invite friends and relatives to give through email, text or social media. Instead of selling products, students “pay it forward” by completing three to five Acts of Kindness (AOKs) for others. The campaign emphasizes gratitude, service, and positive community impact while raising funds for programs such as Books for Fun, BUG Club, student celebrations, family events, and classroom support.
Middle school students can participate in the Kindness Games Stamp Quest, earning stamps for logging AOKs, sending emails and reaching fundraising milestones. Prizes include candy rewards and a trip to The Center Scoop. Students who log five AOKs or receive one donation earn a Sweet Success Dessert Party, and entries into a drawing for a $50 Amazon gift card are awarded for every five AOKs logged and every $25 raised. If the school reaches a $2,500 milestone, the principal and select teachers will race in inflatable costumes.
Family Service Nights are scheduled for March 4 and March 11 in the elementary multipurpose room. Activities include kindness rocks, thank-you cards, chalk messages, paper flowers, placemats, and bookmarks. Registration is available at raisecraze.com/join using code 238-080.
