Homer Public Library announces March 2026 events and programs

With its newly released March 2026 schedule, the Homer Public Library invites community members of all ages to take part in a variety of upcoming activities.

The library's calendar includes educational discussions, crafting sessions, story times for children, and social gatherings. These programs aim to provide opportunities for learning, creativity, and community engagement.

Highlights include an informal discussion on legal matters with attorney Jeremy Abrams on Tuesday, March 3 at 2:00 pm. Story Time sessions for children from birth to preschool age will be held every Wednesday at 10:00 am throughout the month with Miss Shaunta. On Friday, March 6 at 11:00 am, the library will host a Recipe Exchange focused on brunch dishes.

Other scheduled events feature a GetSetUp session for adults aged 55 and older on Monday, March 9 at 10:00 am; a Medicare discussion led by Jason Barber of TLC Insurance Group on Tuesday, March 10 at 11:00 am; and multiple crafting opportunities including jewelry making and teen DIY projects. The Ukulele Association of Homer will meet twice in March to offer practice sessions and free lessons with instruments available for lending.

Additional activities include a Community of Women gathering on Wednesday, March 17 at 2:00 pm; Teen Paint Night later that day; Teen Movie & Pizza Night on Thursday, March 19; Brunch and a Movie on Friday, March 20; Book Club discussions; meals provided by Licking County Aging Partners followed by exercise programs; and a meeting of the Homer Historical Society.
