The Knox County Board of Commissioners has scheduled a regular session on January 13, 2026, at 10:00 AM in the Commissioners Conference Room located at 117 East High Street, Mount Vernon, Ohio. The meeting will commence with a public hearing regarding a petition to vacate a portion of Bat Nest Road in Union Township.
The agenda includes departmental updates from the Knox County I.T. Department and the Knox County 911 Dispatch Center. The I.T. Department will present its monthly report for January 2026, while the Dispatch Center will provide its report for December 2025.
Resolutions to be presented include approving a public notice for a contract substitute teacher position through the Knox County Department of Job and Family Services - Ohio Means Jobs.
