Fans of the popular farming simulation game "Stardew Valley" will have a chance to celebrate its whimsical world in person when the Licking County Library hosts a Junimo Party this winter on Tuesday, Jan. 20.

The event scheduled at the library's main branch invites players and community members to step into the colorful universe of "Stardew Valley" by joining activities themed around the game's iconic Junimos, the small, forest spirits who help farmers restore the community center. The program is designed to blend gaming culture with community engagement, offering crafts, interactive stations, and opportunities for fans to connect.

The Junimo Party will feature decorations inspired by the game's pixelated aesthetic, along with hands-on activities that highlight the cooperative spirit central to Stardew Valley. Attendees can expect themed crafts, trivia, and interactive displays that encourage collaboration, similar to the game itself.

"During this hands-on workshop you’ll sculpt your very own Junimo character out of clay. These whimsical forest spirits will bring a touch of Stardew magic to your winter days," the Licking County Library's announcement stated. "Alongside crafting, participants will share their favorite tips, tricks, and secrets for cultivating the best in-game farm life."

Participation is free, though space may be limited. Families and fans are encouraged to register through the Licking County Library's event calendar.
