Men’s Fellowship Breakfast
Men are invited to gather for the Men’s Fellowship Breakfast on Saturday, Jan. 3, from 9-11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 106 N. Gay St. in Mount Vernon. Held on the first Saturday of each month, this relaxed and welcoming gathering offers a meaningful blend of fellowship, conversation, and encouragement. Enjoy hearty “guy food” alongside thoughtful discussion that feeds both body and spirit, with time set aside for reflection on faith and everyday life. The group meets in the Church Parlor, and no materials or preparation are required—just come as you are. If a holiday falls on a Saturday, the breakfast shifts to the second Saturday. It’s a simple, enriching way to connect, grow, and share how life can bring greater glory to Jesus.
Child Dedication
Celebrate a meaningful moment at Child Dedication on Sunday, Jan. 11, from 9:30–10:30 a.m. at New Life Church, 665 Harcourt Road in Mount Vernon. This special service offers parents the opportunity to publicly dedicate their children to the Lord and affirm their commitment to raising them to know Jesus and follow Him. During the service, families will present their children before the congregation as pastors pray a blessing over each child and family, marking the beginning of an important journey of faith. Family members and friends are warmly invited to attend and show their support. Parents who wish to participate are encouraged to register in advance.
