Food for the Hungry - Mount Vernon is set to host its 15th Annual Snowflake Gala on Saturday, December 13. The event aims to support the organization's 2025 Drive Goal of $340,000. Attendees can expect an evening of entertainment and philanthropy at the Lowry Center in Gambier, Ohio.
The evening will commence with a cocktail hour at 6 PM, followed by a reception and gourmet dinner at 7 PM. The meal will be prepared by Stuart Washington and the Knox County Career Center Culinary Arts lab. A live auction will take place during the event, with all proceeds benefiting families and individuals in Knox County.
Entertainment for the night includes performances by the Knox Community Jazztet and MTV Arts. This year's gala will honor Bruce Jacklin with the William A. Stroud Jr. Award for Public Service. Co-hosts Kelly Yerxa Lauth and Leah Stone Miller will join Jacklin, who is recognized as a leading advocate for the arts in Knox County.
Tickets are available for $100 per person, with net proceeds supporting Food for the Hungry's initiatives. Reservations can be made online until December 5, 2025.

For those unable to attend but wishing to contribute, donations can be made online or mailed to Food For The Hungry c/o Wilging, Roush & Parsons CPAs in Mount Vernon. Additionally, collection points throughout Knox County will accept donations on December 12.
The organization will broadcast live from Memorial Theater on December 12 from 9:00 AM–5:00 PM via mvnu.tv and its YouTube channel. Radio listeners can tune into various local stations for updates throughout the day.
