Mount Vernon Nazarene University's (MVNU) men's and women's bowling teams participated in the Ohio Bowling Conference No. 2 event at Columbus Square Bowling Palace on November 15. The MVNU women's team secured 12th place with a total of 4,167 pins. Reagan Judy led the Lady Cougars, scoring 541 pins and averaging 180.3 per game. The University of Northwestern Ohio won the women's title with a score of 5,273.
The MVNU men's team finished in 13th place out of 20 teams, accumulating a total of 5,024 pins. Christian Phillips was the top performer for the Cougars with an individual score of 631 pins, averaging 210.3 per game. Muskingum University claimed victory in the men's tournament with a total of 5,727 pins.
The top performers for MVNU women included Reagan Judy (18th place), Lily Vollrath (27th), Hala Paolucci (31st), Mackenzie Kauffman (43rd), and Kristen Cobb (45th). For the men, Christian Phillips placed 27th, followed by Kobe Green (43rd), Jacob Burre (56th), Benjamin Brubaker (62nd), and Wyatt Ary (69th).
Next on their schedule is the Crossroads League Bowling Tournament on December 5-6 at Crest Lanes & EZ Lanes in Marion, Indiana.
