The Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's cross country team secured fifth place at the Crossroads League Championships held at Indiana Wesleyan University on November 7. The Lady Cougars achieved a new school record in the 6K with an average team time of 1:56:51.01, surpassing their previous best of 1:57:26.

Tammy Liplin, a standout performer for the team, broke her own school record by completing the race in 22:39.8, improving from her previous time of 22:54.8. Her performance ranks among the top five in the program's history.

Taylor University emerged as the winner of the League Championship, followed by Grace College in second place.

Key results for MVNU included Tammy Liplin finishing 17th with a time of 22:39.8, Lauren Warder placing 38th at 23:18.5, Ashley Yoder coming in 44th with a time of 23:26.3, Raelyn Barrett securing the 49th spot at 23:39.1, and Louisa Hallabrin finishing 54th with a time of 23:47.3.
