Ryan Lehman and Tammy Liplin have been recognized as the Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Runners of the Week by the Crossroads League. The announcement was made on Monday, October 20. Lehman secured his first career honor after finishing fourth out of 250 competitors at the Jenna Strong Fall Classic with a time of 25:55.6.
Liplin also performed well at the same event, completing her run in 19:02.4 to finish 11th among 194 participants. This is the second time this season that Liplin has received this recognition from the Crossroads League.
Mount Vernon Nazarene University (MVNU), where both athletes study, will compete next at the Great Lakes Challenge in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on October 25. MVNU is a private Christian university located in Mount Vernon, Ohio, offering education to nearly 2,200 students from various states and countries.
