The game took place in Upland, Indiana, where Taylor University's Eliza Luttrell scored the first goal at the 32nd minute with an assist from Kiana Siefert. Luttrell secured another goal unassisted at the 77th minute.
Taylor University dominated the game with 18 shots compared to MVNU's 10, and they had eight shots on goal while MVNU managed four. Bekah Blair led MVNU with four shots, including one on target. Hannah Miller, the goalkeeper for MVNU, made six saves during the match. This performance brings her season total to 98 saves and just eight short of reaching 400 career saves.
