MVNU men's cross country finishes second at Jenna Strong Fall Classic

The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's cross country team secured a second-place finish at the Jenna Strong Fall Classic in Wilmington, Ohio. The event took place on Friday, October 17, with MVNU competing against 21 teams in the John Boland Men's 8k race. The team earned a total of 93 points.

Ryan Lehman led the team by finishing fourth with a time of 25:55.6. Will Baker also performed well, securing the tenth position with a time of 26:06.3. Other notable performances included Mason Hendrickson in 33rd place at 26:49.0, Evan Hodkinson in 34th at 26:50.9, and Daron Porter in 36th at 26:52.9.

Looking ahead, MVNU is set to participate in the Great Lakes Challenge next Saturday, October 25, at Riverside Park in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The meet will commence at 10:00 a.m.
