Indiana Wesleyan's Kai Haskell opened the scoring in the ninth minute. Yarek Carnegie added another goal five minutes later, assisted by Mariano Chaves. Carnegie scored again in the second half at the 55th minute, with Chaves providing another assist. Guzman Trigo and Jameson Neill each contributed to the scoreline with goals in the 60th and 86th minutes, respectively, with assists from Carnegie and Javier Enciso.
Indiana Wesleyan dominated offensively, outshooting Mount Vernon Nazarene 23-3 and recording nine shots on goal compared to just one from their opponents. Brayden Pierson made four saves for Mount Vernon Nazarene.
