The Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's volleyball team secured a decisive victory against Huntington University in a key Crossroads League match. The No. 12 ranked Lady Cougars swept the game with scores of 25-17, 25-15, and 25-18, moving them to second place in the league standings.
Libby Evanshine led the team with 11 kills, complemented by four digs and two blocks. Faith Maloney contributed eight kills and is nearing a career milestone of 1,000 kills. She also added nine digs and four blocks to her performance. Reagan Nuss provided significant support with 28 assists, nine digs, one block, and a service ace. Jaelyn Tang was instrumental defensively with 19 digs.
Looking ahead, MVNU will face Marian University at Ariel Arena on Friday evening.
