Spring Arbor quickly established dominance by scoring twice within the first five minutes. They extended their lead to 3-0 just before halftime. In the closing moments of the match, Spring Arbor secured their victory with a fourth goal, resulting in a final score of 4-0 against Mount Vernon Nazarene University (MVNU).
Despite the defeat, MVNU's defense made six more saves than their opponents but struggled offensively, being outshot 21-4.
