The Danville Local School District Board of Education will convene for its regular meeting on October 14, 2025. The session, to be held in the board room, will include several key agenda items and decisions impacting the district.

During the meeting, the board is expected to approve a series of donations from Robert Alexander and St. John Lutheran Church. Alexander will contribute a chess set valued at $300 for the high school game room and a clarinet worth $50 for the band program. Additionally, St. John Lutheran Church will donate an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

A significant portion of the agenda will be dedicated to recognizing School Bus Safety Week, observed from October 20–24, 2025. The board will express appreciation for its bus drivers’ commitment to student safety during daily transportation, field trips, and extracurricular activities.

The board will also address staffing changes.

Contracts will be considered with the North Central Ohio Educational Service Center for hearing services and with the Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center for staffing services under a Title I Pooling Contract.

In other business, the board will review a proposed phone service contract with Global Data Technologies at $1,404.30 per month over 60 months. Approval will also be considered for the purchase of real estate located at 411 Market Street for up to $144,600.

Policy revisions will be discussed, including updates to nondiscrimination policies related to employment and educational programs.
