Trunk or Treat
Join the fun at Trunk or Treat on Wednesday, Oct. 29, from 5:30-7 p.m. at Knox DD, 11700 Upper Gilchrist Road, Mount Vernon. Hosted by the Aktion Club, this is their first-ever Trunk or Treat event, open to everyone in the community. Families are invited to enjoy a safe and festive evening of trick-or-treating, decorated vehicles, and Halloween fun. Those interested in participating as vehicles or candy givers are encouraged to decorate their trunks and share treats with local children. 3rd Annual Witches Night Out
Join the magic at the 3rd Annual Witches Night Out on Thursday, Oct. 30, from 5-9 p.m. in Downtown Mount Vernon, 1 Public Square, Mount Vernon, hosted by the Downtown Mount Vernon Merchants. Dust off your broomstick and fly through the square for an evening filled with activities for all ages, specials and giveaways, and enchanting shops and haunts to explore. Dress in your best witchy attire and join fellow revelers for a night of Halloween fun and community spirit. The evening wraps up with a lively costume contest at Happy Street Brü Werks, where creativity and spooky style take center stage in this festive downtown celebration.
