Mount Vernon Nazarene University's women's volleyball team, ranked 13th, achieved a decisive victory against Bethel University in a conference match on October 8. The Lady Cougars, who previously lost to Bethel in four sets on September 3, managed to turn the tables with a straight-set win this time. They won by scores of 25-23, 25-16, and 25-23.

MVNU's performance was marked by a stronger hitting percentage of .200 compared to Bethel's .065 and a solid defensive effort with 60 digs.
