Tammy Liplin, a member of the Mount Vernon Nazarene University (MVNU) women's cross country team, has been recognized as the Crossroads League Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week. This accolade was announced on Monday, October 6. Liplin is the first from her team to receive this honor since Morgan Forney in 2022.
Liplin achieved a top ten finish at the OWU Invitational on Friday, October 3, securing seventh place with a time of 23:06.2. Her performance contributed to MVNU's third-place finish overall at the event.
The MVNU team will compete next at the JennaStrong Fall Classic on Friday, October 17. The event is hosted by Wilmington College in Wilmington, Ohio and is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m.
