Megan Moser scored her second goal of the season to equalize the match at 1-1. Bekah Blair then secured the win for MVNU with a long-range shot in the 64th minute, making it 2-1. This score remained unchanged until the end of the game.
Senior goalkeeper Hannah Miller, from Ashland, played a crucial role by making eight saves during the match, bringing her total to 65 saves this season.
Looking ahead, MVNU will face Spring Arbor University on October 11.
