The Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's volleyball team, ranked 13th nationally, secured a decisive victory against the University of Saint Francis on Wednesday at Ariel Arena. The match ended with MVNU winning all three sets, 25-8, 25-17, and 25-11.

Evelyn Brown contributed significantly to the win with nine kills and an impressive .818 hitting percentage. Faith Maloney and Libby Evanshine also added eight kills each, maintaining high hitting percentages of .571 and .375 respectively. Overall, the team achieved a .418 hitting percentage during the match.

The University of Saint Francis struggled throughout the game, ending with a negative hitting percentage of -.104. Reagan Nuss provided 18 assists for MVNU, while Bella Claxon added 11 more. Jaelyn Tang led in defense with 10 digs.

Looking ahead, the Lady Cougars will face Bethel University in Mishawaka, Indiana on October 8 at 6:00 p.m.
