The Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's volleyball team, ranked 16th nationally, achieved a decisive victory against Grace College on Wednesday. The match took place at Grace College's home court, where MVNU secured a sweep with set scores of 25-21, 25-16, and 26-24. This marks the team's third consecutive sweep and their seventh overall this season.
Libby Evanshine led MVNU with 11 kills and contributed three blocks. Evelyn Brown added ten kills with a .381 hitting percentage. Lilla Nicholas recorded nine kills with a .400 hitting percentage, while Eliana Morgan had four kills and five blocks, achieving a .444 hitting percentage. Reagan Nuss played a crucial role with 36 assists, 14 digs, and three kills.
MVNU is scheduled to face Oakland City next on Friday at Ariel Arena.
