GOAL Digital Academy has introduced the Night Scholars Program, an initiative aimed at providing academic and technology support to students and families after regular school hours. Starting September 29, 2025, the program will be accessible via Zoom from Monday to Thursday between 6 PM and 9 PM.
The program is designed to cater to students who need flexible support due to work commitments or those who prefer studying in the evening. Parents can also receive help with their child's coursework or technology issues. "By offering a structured evening program, we’re making sure no student or family feels limited by their schedule," said Mike Galleher, the leader of the Night Scholars Program.
Participants can join the program through various methods: scanning a QR code available on GOAL's flyer, Canvas Dashboard, or website; logging into the GOAL Canvas account for updated links; or using a direct Zoom link (https://mygda.zoom.us/j/7537156951?omn=87677576061). No pre-registration is required.
Superintendent Tish Jenkins expressed enthusiasm about the launch, stating that it reflects GOAL Digital Academy's mission to ensure every student is "Known, Valued, and Successful." She praised Mike Galleher for his dedication and innovative approach in creating opportunities for learning outside traditional hours.
GOAL Digital Academy is an online and blended learning institution committed to providing personalized support and flexible scheduling to enhance student success.
