The Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's volleyball team recently celebrated the achievements of two of its players, Jaelyn Tang and Reagan Nuss, who were recognized by the Crossroads League. On September 15, Tang was named Defender of the Week, while Nuss received the Setter of the Week honor.

Jaelyn Tang's recognition came after her significant contributions to the Lady Cougars' victories against Marian University and Huntington University. In these matches, she achieved a career-high of 34 digs against Marian University and accumulated a total of 52 digs and 11 assists across both games. Her performance averaged 6.50 digs per set.

Reagan Nuss earned her second Setter of the Week title in the Crossroads League following an impressive week. She recorded 83 assists and 30 digs over two matches, averaging 10.4 assists and 3.8 digs per set. This season, Nuss has compiled a total of 508 assists, along with 34 kills and 152 digs, maintaining an average of 9.58 assists per set.
