The Knox County Chamber of Commerce, with support from Koorsen Fire & Security, is launching the Kegs & Corks Craft Beer and Wine Fest in Mount Vernon. The event is scheduled for Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm, with VIP access starting at 4:00 pm. It will take place along South Main Street, stretching from the square to Gambier Street and bordered by Vine, Mulberry, and Gay Streets.
Debbie Ruggles, Programs & Financial Manager of the Chamber, expressed enthusiasm about the festival's debut. "We’re thrilled to introduce a new tradition to Mount Vernon," she said. "Kegs & Corks Craft Beer & Wine Fest isn’t just a typical brew fest—it’s a celebration of our community’s creative energy, shared love for good beer, wine, food, and great company."
The festival aims to attract visitors and increase foot traffic in downtown Mount Vernon. This initiative is expected to benefit small businesses and contribute to funding the Chamber's programs that promote economic growth in Knox County.
Tickets for general admission are available on Eventbrite with a $10 discount until September 15th. They can also be purchased on the Chamber’s website at https://www.knoxchamber.com/kegs-and-corks-fest/ or at the welcome tent during the event.
