Friends of the Licking County Library hosts two-day book sale

The Friends of the Licking County Library will be having two book sales before the end of August. Swing by the former State Farm building at 1440 Granville Road, Newark, to support the library and score some books for your collection.

The public is invited to a community book sale on Saturday, Aug. 23, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.. Books will be sold at $5 per bag and will be handed out at the door.

A preview sale will be hosted a day before the community book sale, which will be exclusively open to Friends of the Licking County Library members. Memberships are sold at the door. Group members have the privilege to unlock the first pick of the books. Additionally, as a bonus, all new members will receive a $5 coupon to be used at the book sale. Be sure to watch the clock if you are interested in this special sale. It will only run for two hours, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Membership fees are $10 for students and seniors, $20 for individuals, $30 for families, and $150 for lifetime membership.

The Friends of Licking County Library is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the Library’s growth and accessibility for every individual in the community.
