Mount Vernon Nazarene University's women's volleyball team announces its schedule for the upcoming season

The Mount Vernon Nazarene University (MVNU) women's volleyball team has announced its 2025 schedule, featuring 30 matches. The season kicks off at the HIU Invitational in Fullerton, California, on August 22-23. During the event, MVNU will face four teams that participated in the NAIA National Tournament and were ranked in the final NAIA Women's Volleyball Coaches Top 25 Rating.

On the first day of the Invitational, MVNU will compete against No. 7 Southern Oregon and No. 25 The Master's. Notably, MVNU previously defeated The Master's in last season's National Tournament held in Sioux City. On the second day, they will play against No. 5 Bellevue and The College of Idaho, which ended last season ranked No. 22.

The Lady Cougars' first home match is scheduled for August 27 against the University of Rio Grande at Ariel Arena. Their conference play begins with three consecutive home games against Bethel University on September 3, Taylor University on September 6, and Huntington University on September 10.

The regular season wraps up with an away game at the University of Saint Francis on November 5. Following this, the Crossroads League Tournament starts on November 8 for the top eight teams in the conference standings.
