Danville High School senior Josh Byers has been nominated for the Central Ohio Football Athlete of the Year, an accolade that acknowledges the region's most outstanding high school football players.
According to Danville athletic officials, Byers, a key contributor for the Blue Devils, impressed throughout the season with his leadership, athleticism, and overall impact on the field. His performance was instrumental in Danville's success, whether he was making significant plays on offense, defense, or special teams.
The nomination places Byers among the elite in Central Ohio football. It recognizes not only his individual statistics but also his work ethic, sportsmanship, and dedication to the game.
