Sewing with Lisa: A Quilt of Many Colors! | Knox County Quilt Guild | Facebook

The Public Library of Mount Vernon and Knox County will be holding a free learning session, Sewing with Lisa: A Quilt of Many Colors! on Wednesday, June 18.

Attendees will be making colorful sections of a quilt that will be assembled in July and will be raffled off in August at the Library. The class, which will be held in the Multipurpose Room, will start at 10 a.m. and will last until 2 p.m.

All sewing supplies, including sewing machines, will be made available to the learners. Lisa Blaisdell and Elyce Doerr, an instructor and member of the Knox County Quilt Guild, will guide participants to craft the colorful sections of the quilt, regardless of their sewing skill levels.

This event is open to ages 13 and up, but space is limited, so early registration is needed. To register, proceed to the library's Main Circulation Desk or call 740-392-2665 extension 8236.

Bring the whole family to learn a new craft together while building meaningful connections within the community
