Recently, the Fredericktown FFA took part in the Knox County Envirothon Training held at Kokosing Valley Camp & Canoe in Howard. The training was organized with the support of the Knox County Soil & Water Conservation District, USDA Natural Resource Conservation Service, ODNR-Division of Wildlife, and ODNR-Division of Forestry.
This event is unique as it is the only team contest where all members collaborate to complete tests in various areas: Soils, Aquatics, Wildlife, Forestry, and Environmental Issues. A team consisting of five students will participate in the Area 3 Envirothon competition.
Debra Burden serves as the advisor for Fredericktown FFA. The participating members from Fredericktown FFA included Izzy Broerman, Lauren Neighbarger, Allissya Dugan, Jordyn Neighbarger in the front row; and Austin Robinson, Lane Dugan, Mason Gearheart in the back row.
