Gary Thomas Keesee Jr. has been indicted on 27 counts of sex crimes by a Knox County Grand Jury as of April 21, 2025. The charges follow an investigation initiated by the Licking County Sheriff's Office in February at the request of the Knox County Sheriff's Office.
Licking County Prosecutor Jenny Wells is serving as the special prosecutor for this case and led the proceedings before the Grand Jury that resulted in these charges. The indictment includes 11 counts of rape, 11 counts of gross sexual imposition, and five counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor.
Keesee's arraignment is scheduled to take place in Knox County on Wednesday. He is currently being held at the Licking County Justice Center. Authorities have said that the investigation remains ongoing and are urging anyone with information to reach out to Captain Jay Cook or Captain Gus Moore.
