The Village of Gambier has partnered with the Delaware, Knox, Marion, and Morrow Solid Waste District to organize a monthly electronics recycling event for local residents. This initiative aims to reduce electronic waste in landfills by ensuring recyclable components of electronic devices are repurposed effectively.

"The program is open to the public," organizers confirmed. Participants in the program are encouraged to bring all types of household electronics for recycling. However, there is a fee for recycling certain items: televisions cost $20, and computer monitors $5.

The recycling event takes place at the Gambier Community Center, located at 115 Meadow Lane, between the community center and the nearby dog park, next to the big gray shipping container. The event is scheduled on the first Friday of every month, from 8:30 AM to 11 AM, with the next event occurring on Friday, May 2, 2025.
