Knox Community Hospital in Mount Vernon, Ohio, will host National Healthcare Decision Day on April 18. The event will take place from 11 AM to 1 PM in the KCH Private Dining Room/Cafeteria. It aims to help individuals plan for their healthcare needs and communicate their preferences to family and healthcare providers.
Attendees will have the opportunity to speak with experts about Medicare Enrollment, Healthcare power of attorney, living wills, and DNR (Do Not Resuscitate) paperwork. Discussions will also cover transitioning from a large family home to a more manageable living situation and other related topics that may cause stress for individuals and caregivers.
