Ellis Brothers, Inc. is set to introduce a new initiative aimed at supporting women's health through the unveiling of a custom-designed pink truck. This initiative seeks to raise awareness and funds for the Women's Health fund via the Foundation for Knox Community Hospital.
The company plans to donate part of the proceeds from concrete deliveries made with this pink truck to the Foundation for KCH. These funds will aid in supporting women's health through preventive screenings, advanced treatments, patient navigation, and long-term education.
In collaboration with Knox Community Hospital, Ellis Brothers invites the community to attend the Pink Truck Unveiling event on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at 11:00 am. The event will take place in the upper lot of the Wright Family Medical Pavilion located at 1330 Coshocton Avenue, Mount Vernon. The event aims to highlight women's health issues and showcase the truck as a symbol of community support.
"We are incredibly proud to introduce this truck, which embodies the strength and resilience of women while actively contributing to their well-being," said John Ellis, President of Ellis Brothers, Inc. "This initiative reflects our deep commitment to supporting the health and vitality of our community."
"This truck will serve as a constant reminder of the importance of supporting women's health initiatives in our region," said Alice Hutzel, Director of Marketing & Development at KCH.
