KANSAI HELIOS Coatings Group, a global leader in industrial coatings, has announced plans to expand its North American operations by investing over $20 million in a new manufacturing facility in Johnstown. This development is expected to create 48 new jobs by 2030.

"This expansion not only brings high-quality jobs to our city but also demonstrates that Johnstown is an ideal environment for global manufacturers seeking long-term success. According to the news release, employees will receive specialized education and training opportunities at KANSAI HELIOS production facilities in Germany. This training is part of the company's commitment to fostering a highly skilled workforce and ensuring high standards in sustainable coatings technology. The expansion is anticipated to double the company's revenue by 2030.
KANSAI HELIOS Group Executive Vice President and Executive Director Bastian Krauss said that the investment represents a major step forward in the company's growth strategy, which will quadruple its production capacity.
The company has a strong global presence in the coatings sector, serving diverse markets including automotive, construction, and industrial applications with high-performance coatings solutions. The new Licking County facility will enhance the company's ability to deliver specialized powder coatings across the United States and North America.
