Thousands of Ohio employers have the opportunity to enhance workplace safety by participating in their local safety council. The program offers education, resource sharing, and premium savings. Employers can earn a 3% rebate on their workers’ compensation premium through active participation.

The initiative focuses on teaching techniques for improving safety, health, and wellness in the workplace. It also provides a platform for networking and sharing best practices with other community employers. Participants will identify resources to aid in accident prevention efforts and access risk management information to help reduce workers' compensation costs.

The upcoming event will take place at The Gallagher Centre, featuring Cameron Keaton as the speaker. Keaton is an engineer who will address work zone safety topics. Interested parties should note that the deadline to register is March 10th.

"Equip yourself locally with resources and prevention strategies to make your workplace safer," states the program's promotional material.
