The Village of Gambier will be holding its next monthly electronic recycling on March 7 from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
The recycling event, which supports the reduction of electronic waste, is held every first Friday of the month at the Gambier Community Center, 115 Meadow Lance. It is advised not to bring the items outside of pick-up hours.
"The drop-off location is at the Horseshoe entrance of the Community Center. A large truck will be there. Please do not drop off items without checking in with someone," the announcement on its website reads.
Drop-off for small items is free, including non-CRT monitors and flat-panel TVs under 32". There would be a $20 charge for CRT monitors and flat panel TVs over 32". It would be $40 for CRT, rear projection, and other TVs.
