Mount Vernon's Blackberry Alley, between Vine Street and Gambier Street, will be periodically closed to traffic from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. - emergency traffic included.
Barricades will be used to cordon off the area while the road construction is taking place.
Officials hope to reopen the area permanently to vehicles on April 30, 2025.
New building construction in the area is the reason for the roadwork.
