According to the Facebook announcement, the Safety Council Meeting will feature insights from James DeChant, Director of the Emergency Management Agency. Registration is encouraged by January 13. Additionally, the Ohio Safety Congress & Expo is set to occur from April 16-18, 2025. The Chamber also highlighted that January recognizes important safety observances such as National Safety Month for Skiers and Snowboarders, National Radon Action Month, and National Bath Safety Month.

The EMA aims to build an integrated emergency management system through community coordination and partnerships while maintaining an emergency operations center (EOC) to manage incidents. It organizes training and resources to ensure preparedness and seeks grants to enhance emergency response capabilities.
