Online auction items | Food For The Hungry

The Knox County Career Center (KCCC) is making holiday shopping both enjoyable and meaningful this year by hosting an online auction to benefit Food For The Hungry (FFTH). This silent auction features an impressive collection of 15 themed gift baskets and five individual items or collections, with a combined value exceeding $8,000.

The auction items, generously donated by the community, were thoughtfully curated with contributions from KCCC students, teachers, and staff. Among the baskets are enticing options such as gift cards to local businesses, canoe trips, overnight stays, car care products, household essentials, and a delightful assortment of food and clothing.

Those interested in participating can browse the items and place their bids at https://www.32auctions.com/kcccffth2024. To bid, participants must create an account, but there is no obligation to bid upon registration, and the platform does not automatically place bids. The auction closes on Friday, December 13, at 3 p.m., so prospective bidders are encouraged to act quickly.

The auction supports FFTH’s 2024 campaign, which aims to raise $330,000. FFTH is dedicated to serving Knox County’s neighbors in need, and the proceeds from the auction will directly contribute to this vital cause. For more information about donation opportunities, collection points, and ways to volunteer, visit www.FoodForTheHungryCares.org

Adding to the festive spirit, FFTH Live will broadcast on Friday, December 13, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Listeners can tune in to the event on 100.9 FM and 93.7 FM HD2 WMVO, WMVO.com, and the WMVO App. The video stream will be available on www.mvnu.tv and the FFTH Facebook page. Updates will also air throughout the day on 90.9 FM WNZR and 93.7 FM The Super Q WQIO, as well as FFTH’s social media platforms.

This cherished Knox County tradition will be hosted from the Memorial Theater in Knox Memorial on East High Street in Mount Vernon. Don't miss this opportunity to make a difference while enjoying a day filled with holiday cheer.
