The Mount Vernon community is gearing up for a festive season with Winter in Downtown: A Vintage Holiday Celebration, hosted by Park National Bank in collaboration with the Mount Vernon Arts Consortium. This series of events promises holiday cheer, community spirit, and cherished traditions.

Celebrate local businesses by shopping small on Saturday, November 30th. Explore unique gifts and support the community all day long.
Annual Holiday Parade
Sponsored by Burrata Wood Fired, the parade will take place on Sunday, December 1st, at 3:45 PM. Bundle up and enjoy the sights and sounds of the season as the procession makes its way through downtown.
Lighting of Public Square
Witness the magical transformation of the Public Square, sponsored by Ariel, on Sunday, December 1st, at 5:00 PM. This annual tradition kicks off the holiday season in style.
Pictures with Santa
Capture memories with Santa Claus, courtesy of The Mount Vernon Grand Hotel. Santa will be available for photos on Sunday, December 1st, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM and Saturday, December 14th, from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM
5th Annual Festival of Lights
Marvel at the dazzling displays of holiday lights during the Festival of Lights competition, sponsored by Knox Community Hospital. The event begins Saturday, December 14th, at 6:00 PM.
